With a height of 508m and 101 stories, the tallest building in Asia is situated in the Shenyi district and immediately adjacent to the World Trade Center. Inside the mall, there are fashion boutique department stores, luxury restaurants and the 89F indoor observation deck. In addition, the Taipei 101 offers the New Year’s countdown evening party and a majestic fireworks display every year!
Shilin Night Market
This is one of the largest night markets in the Taipei region and offers myriads of products and economy delicacies, making it the perfect nighttime shopping location for tourists and citizens of Taipei.

The white western building which exudes southern American estate ambiance was formerly the American Ambassador’s Residence in Taipei. It is now transformed into a cultural and art complex and a venue for the interchange of creativity, as well as a recreational venue for modern people.
Ximenting
This is Taipei’s renowned cinema street and the most flourishing area in the western district of Taipei, it is also a favorite hangout location for young people. Its most iconic feature is that it is the first pedestrian-only area in Taipei, and often small concerts, celebrity autograph sessions, movie promotions and street performances are held here.
Taipei Story House
Located next to the Taipei Fine Arts Museum, the entire building adopts a British Tudor style architecture; its unique, elegant architectural style closely resembles the buildings in fairytale, therefore it is also referred to as the Fairytale Butter House. It is designated as a historic monument in Taipei City.
Taipei Fine Arts Museum
This is the first museum in Taiwan dedicated to the promotion and exhibition of contemporary arts, it is also the larges modern art museum in Asia. The building itself is a gigantic and majestic artwork, while the front square exhibits sculptures by various renowned artists.
Qingguang Market
During the early stages, this was Taipei’s largest trading place for imported goods, the stores that lined the streets offered a wide selection of foreign boutiques, as well as a plethora of well-known delicacy vendors. Together with the brand new pedestrian shopping street, Qingguang Market has been selected as one of the important demonstration markets in Taiwan by the MOEA.
Dazhi Miramar Entertainment Park
The first hundred meter Ferris wheel in Taiwan, combining entertainment, technology and art, comparable to Japan's Odaiba Ferris Wheel in Tokyo; the dazzling light performance at night is complemented by the romantic, fantasy music merry go round to create the most magnificent gem in Taipei’s evening sky.
